Wie Nokia heute verlauten lässt, wird es kein offizielles Upgrade auf Meego für das N900 geben:

Eine Installation wird weiterhin möglich sein, wie Nokia schreibt benutzen Sie das N900 selbst zum Testen – allerdings wird das ganze wohl mehr als Spielwiese angesehen. Was das genau bedeutet, wird sich zeigen. Da Meego allerdings wie eine Linux-Distribution aufgestellt ist, und auf vielen Geräten verschiedenster Hersteller laufen soll (ja sogar auf Netbooks), verstehe ich nicht, warum es auch nicht “offiziell” auf dem N900 laufen können soll. Vielleicht steht dahinter aber auch nur die Taktik, nochmals Geld für ein neues Gerät herauszuschlagen…
