Here’s a really awesome application for your N900 called “Shake to Control”.

Once you install it, you get a button/widget on your desktop that says “Start” (I’ve turned mine on so it says stop).

This app utilizes your N900s accelerometer to control your media keys, hence “shake to control”. It works really well and it’s FREE to download via app manager.

SEGA Mega Drive emulator for Maemo. It runs full speed with sound on the N900 and works great with all games I tested so far. GUI is similar to drnoksnes.

Controls:

UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGTH : W/A/S/D

A/B/C buttons : I/O/P

X/Y/Z buttons : J/K/L

Back to menu: BACKSPACE.

“glTron” für Nokia N900 – Light Bike Tron Racing

zehjotkah brings another Maemo video demo. This time it’s with a game called glTron.

Game play video starts at about 2:20 (prior you’ll be shown game options) and you’ll see this is a keyboard based game.

It’s basically the light bike scene, the aim is to be the last person riding out of the other three riders. You can’t hit ‘walls’ /the light ‘trail’ of other players or your own trail.

Unserer Meinung nach ist Angry Birds das momentan beste Spiel fürs N900. Das Game ist kostenlos im Ovistore erhältlich und bietet 21 Levels.

Nun bietet Rovio Mobile im Ovi Store das Level Pack 1 mit weiteren 42 Spielstufen an.

Der Spass kostet CHF 4.50.- (3 Euro) ist aber jeden Cent wert!

Kostenlose Zusatz Levels könnt ihr mit folgender Anleitung installieren.

RightWare Kanzi UI Demo für das Nokia N900

Ein kleiner Democlip der Kanzi Oberfläche. Damit hat RightWare eine plattformübergreifende Oberfläche für Smartphones entwickelt und eindrucksvoll demonstriert, was mit OpenGL etc. alles möglich ist.
